Dont bother. All of the info on this lousy app is old & amogst the old info a lot of it is wrong. The train schedules never load and the ferry schedules are a mix of various days so if you rely on it you will miss the ferry. The so called "upcoming events" is just a copy from the Belvederes site. Just use the Sayville ferry site plus the LIRR site & you will have 50% more info than this worthless waste of time.

I have to believe that all the positive comments about this POS are written by the "local people you can trust". It would be a great app- if it consistently gave the right schedule. It doesnt. I drove stupidly (my fault not theirs) yesterday to make a 6:05 ferry that didnt exist. I have been fooled 2x b4 (insert the Bush "fool me one time......"). I am going to deleted this worthless app as soon as I post this and go back to the paper schedule.

I dont know why soneone would rate this anything but 5 stars its an Awesome app and well worth the download I find the ferry site hard to find navigate but this app provides all you need. All ferry schedules are accurate and cant wait to see what the next update has. Thank you!!!

Wouldnt load Schedule as of APRIL 16th 2012. So nothing to report. I I have hope and will try again.

I deleted this app within 2 hours of downloading it. I was never able to load the app successfully. Crashed every single time.

Unfortunately, I made the mistake of trusting the ferry schedule in the app when trying to get home last Saturday, Memorial Day weekend. Missed the boat by 25 minutes! Showed the app to the folks at the ferry and they just laughed. Paper was definitely the superior way to go in this case. Let the free app downloader BEWARE!

At first this app was great now as I stand here in sea view it does not load the schedule and simply says it loads the most recent. This has been going on for two weeks. Idk if the new schedules are not uploaded by them or Its the app itself. Either this is app is now a waste of time.

This is a waste of money. Paid app for a ferry schedule that never updates. You should be arrested for fraud.

Good app for Fire Island travel. I see he new version removed the train schedules but those seemed to just slow it down. Love the biz directory and new event section. The app gets better with every update!

Nice app, really helpful. If its not too much to ask, it would be awesome if it was iPhone 5 and Retina display compatible. Thatd be cool.

It used to work fine, but now no schedules to Fair Harbor load within this app. This "oversight" renders it completely useless to me. Guess Hurricane Sandy mustve flooded this app along with the rest of Fire Island.

This is a great app! The update makes a huge difference. Ferry Schedule is accurate, pictures are cool and the event sections are really nice.

This is a good start to a potentially great app. Some of my suggestions would be to (in the following order): 1.Canvas as many businesses and other Map entities as you can convince to create entries for their place. (I am willing to do this for a reasonable fee if youd like). 2.Get your app developer to tie the app into map apps more deeply than currently delivered. We want to click to entries in your app either from a list or a map and have a more proactive response. The current map only show a flat, unresponsive map. 3. Find some way to get the users involved once you have some directory entries. Mostly with reviews one there are directory entries to review.. 4.Tie in the Yelp and FourStar into this mix. 5.Finally, make a more bidirectional relationship with the primary Social Media platform including Facebook, Twitter, Yahoo... I havent said much about the revenue stream from this app, but if done correctly, I think fireisland.com can raise their input by quite a lot. The most important action is the first. Make the directory content as complete and helpful a possible. Im sure everybodys business will improve if these items can be done. Harrisosn Kyle Jones

The first and best thing any app should do is provide you with the ferry schedule. When they dont have that basic info available, the app is useless. Ive used this app for years, but have switched to a free one that provides real schedule information instead of a paid app that doesnt seem to have a handle on that.
